Psychotherapy, Counselling, Sex Therapy, Supervision Oxford

My life has involved two distinct paths: a love of the outdoors and communing with nature (which led me to a first degree in environmental science, specialising in community education, living off-grid on a smallholding for 5 years, being part of grass roots environmental organisations) and a deep, rich satisfaction in exploring the interior and relational world of being human (which led me to becoming a psychotherapist).

In the last few years I have begun to find a way to weave these two paths together, sometimes taking therapy outdoors for sitting or walking, sometimes bringing nature indoors as a regular practice and in particular rituals.  Of course, we are 'nature' too.  There is no separation, but we forget that.  And it's never been more important to remember.

It's my intent to offer more outdoors work sitting or walking, with options of fire and water as contemplations.

I bring to the work learnings from: reading in the fields of ecology, ecotherapy, soul initiation journey, shamanism; Transition Towns Facilitator training; Wild Therapy work with Nick Totton; Solo wilderness retreats / journeys twice a year; Building deep relationship in personal practice with other-than-human beings and place; Ongoing work with a shaman and regular shamanic practice.
